The Vietnam War lasted around 20 years and is considered to be the longest war in which the United States has been involved. This ribbon has three colors--red, yellow, and green. The red represents the three ancient Vietnamese empires, the yellow represents the imperial color of Vietnam, and the green represents the jungles of Vietnam.
